Getting started

  • What is Evaluu?

Evaluu is a simple way to know what your belongings are really worth. You scan an item with your phone, and Evaluu identifies it and gives you a fair, real-time value based on what similar items have actually sold for. From there you can build an inventory, document things for insurance, or sell when you're ready.

  • How does scanning an item work?

Point your camera at the item and take a photo. Evaluu identifies what it is — the brand, the model, the category — and matches it against real sales data. Within moments you'll see a value, a confidence level, and the option to save it to your inventory.

If a scan isn't sure, or gets something not quite right, you can confirm or adjust the details yourself — a brand, a model, a condition — and the value updates. Most of the time the scan does the work; when it needs a hand, you're in control.

  • Who is Evaluu for?

Anyone who needs a fair answer to "what is this actually worth?" Most of our users come to us during a transition — clearing a family estate, packing up for a move, navigating a divorce or downsizing, building an insurance inventory, or turning something into cash this week.

You don't need to be a reseller, a collector, or an expert. If you own things, Evaluu is for you.

  • What kinds of items can Evaluu value?

Furniture, electronics, clothing, jewelry, collectibles, tools, kitchenware, art, instruments — most things a household owns. Coverage is strongest for items with active resale markets. For rare or highly specialized pieces, Evaluu shows a lower confidence level so you know when a professional appraisal might be worth it.

  • Is Evaluu free to try?

Yes. The Discover plan is free forever — scan and value up to 3 items with no credit card required. It's built so you can see how Evaluu works before deciding whether a paid plan makes sense for you.
